The Air Jordan 1 has become one of the most sought after originals of all time, but in the 80's due to lack of specialist skate shoes, many people dropped into Dogtown rocking AJ1's due to the protection that they offered. Nike have decided to pay homage to that fact with their AJ1 Retro High, bringing all the original elements together and beefing them up for the skaters. This version features a panelled leather & synthetic upper with a perforated toebox, a patent Swoosh and an embroidered Jumpman logo on the heel piece and woven brand tab on the tongue.
