Originally released in 1984, the Forum came in high, mid and low-top versions; a first for adidas basketball shoes at the time, and all variants came with that lay over ankle strap. adidas did a lot of experimentation for the Forum, the use of enamel and the midsole webbing were particularly refreshing. As part of their Winter Pack, adidas has released this pair of Forum Low RS with a pure steel suede upper, woven herringbone sockliner, contrasting scarlet stitch detailing and a classic gum rubber sole. The low top silhouette is finished off nicely by an ankle strap which provides that extra support!
